The display is adjustable (but not motorized–as if someone cared). Its active color matrix provides a strong luminosity and an excellent definition. Right at the center of the device is the big 7.5" VGA display (640x480 dots).

You can also find the mic section here: settings, vocal harmonies, etc. On the left side you will find everything regarding styles and sequences: in the lower part is the style control (intros, variations, breaks, endings, accompaniment modes, tempo, pads, etc.), in the middle part are the style selection buttons sorted by category, and in the upper part the sequencer controls. This time around the layout seems perfectly thought-out. Yamaha has been constantly improving the layout of the different control sections since the first Tyros came out. This keyboard is even better than the famous Yamaha model on the DX7, Korg Trinity and Triton. It's the best light keyboard we have ever tested: straight response, perfect balance and full control. The FSX keyboard has 61 velocity and pressure-sensitive keys. The manufacturer offers a very nice-looking one with the "Tyros 3" logo embroidered on it. Even if it is not made for that, do consider getting a carry case because the part underneath the keys tends to bend if you push on it. Considering its price range, I would have preferred a brushed aluminum housing that made it look more classy without adding much weight. Even if you don't want to buy it, please get your hands on it for atleast once - you'll LOVE IT.Like its predecessors, the Tyros 3 is fitted inside a PVC housing with gray aluminum finish on the top and black finish on the bottom. I would say, Yamaha have made a THING here. With a Tyros, you can record music, play live etc. I wish more keyboards would have the capability of TYROS 3, then the price would go down. Till now I liked most of its features, except, in my old N364, I could use eight (8) tones together (COMBI MODE), but here, I can use only three (3) (RIGHT 1, RIGHT 2, RIGHT 3). As I said, I am using it only for a few days, so I can't say anything in details. Comparing to the other keyboards, this one is rather high price. Also I liked the creatability of the instrument, design. I compared it with a few of the boards available: KORG Triton LE, ROLAND JUNO-i, ROLAND FANTOM G6/G7/G8, KORG KARMA, KORG M1 series, KORG M3, KORG M50, and not to forget, the old YAMAHA PSR 9000pro, TYROS & TYROS 2. I had Yamaha PSR320, Yamaha PSR520 before. I have KORG N364 right now along with Yamaha Tyros 3. I am playing keyboard since I was 15 yrs old (1984). But, if I could, I would DEFINITELY buy again. What I meant is that I will NOT be able to effort one again. The price is very high for our country (1 USD = (almost) 69 BDT - Bangladeshi taka). I hope (& wish) it will not break or get stolen.
